Stace’s client, Watford Borough Council, is regenerating Watford Business Park to create 7,100 square metres of commercial premises.
The scheme will involve the demolition of existing buildings, remediation of the site and construction of new industrial and commercial buildings.
The new modern business park will host five large double warehouse buildings, three smaller pavilion buildings and a café creating the right kind of high-quality spaces and conditions for local businesses so that they can flourish. In turn, this will help attract new businesses to the area, creating more local jobs. Potential occupiers include businesses in the film, TV, life sciences and manufacturing sectors.
Sustainability has been prioritised in this scheme with Glulam Timber Frames being used for the buildings.
The enabling works included the relocation of substations and other utilities, including sewers.
