The project saw the transformation of the Staple Tye paddling pool to a splash park and a paddling pool facility.
As part of Stace’s ongoing relationship with Harlow Council, Stace were initially asked to provide a feasibility report to review the current site to assess the various options to refurbish, partially upgrade or replace one of Harlow’s original paddling pools, with a new more modern splash park.
Following on from this we were subsequently appointed to manage the construction phase of works.
The Splash Park incorporates a new plant room, drainage system, external landscaping and new water features and has been designed to be fully wheelchair accessible.
The conversion from a paddling pool to a modern Splash Park design, now means families in Harlow can safely enjoy the great outdoor community and features including water arcs, water jets, blasts, water curtains and streaming showers.
