Background
Completion of a new build Delivery Office for Royal Mail Group.
Royal Mail Group was required to relocate as part of the wider redevelopment of South Shields and expansion of the Metro Station.
The works were procured via a single-stage design and build route.
One of the main challenges of the project was that the scheme had to be designed, procured and constructed within a challenging timescale in order to meet the requirements of the development agreement. Stace worked with the client, design team and main contractor to ensure that these timescales were met.
Our Role
Stace delivered Cost Management and Employer’s Agent services from feasibility stage through to project completion.
The works consisted of the procurement and construction of a new Delivery Office on a brownfield site for our client, Royal Mail Group.
