Meridian Water is a major £6bn, 25-year London regeneration programme led by Enfield Council.
The major development will deliver 10,000 homes and thousands of jobs to Enfield, North London, which is well located next door to Lee Valley Regional Park.
Alongside beautiful homes, public spaces and community facilities, the development will have its own brand-new railway station, unlocking the area for commuters, with greater connectivity both south to Stratford and London Liverpool Street and north to Stansted and Cambridge.
Stace has been working with Meridian Water since 2018 and is providing Project Management and Cost Management services on Meridian One and Meridian Two which are the first phases of the major development project. Stace also project managed the site remediation for Meridian One site, the public realm and station interface works and provided technical support to the developer selection process for Meridian One and Two. We continue to provide Project Management and Costs Management advice generally to Enfield Council’s Meridian Water Team and have provided a wide range of services in connection with their Meanwhile Strategy which included schemes such as The Drumsheds, Building Bloqs and Troubadour Theatres. We wrote the Meridian Water Construction Management System which is a Code of Practice document that will control development across the multiple plots and have been appointed as the Meridian Water Construction Lead, to implement and manage this across the site.
Phase One will see the first 950 homes and retail space built at Willoughby Lane.
These homes will be delivered around the newly opened Meridian Water station, which at its peak is expected to serve up to four million passengers.
