Meeting local needs and fostering community in East London
Stace has been appointed on the latest in a phased development to provide student accommodation in Canning Town for the London Borough of Newham.
Phase Four of the project, Hallsville Quarter, will deliver 375 student accommodation rooms across 11 storeys. The accommodation will account for a range of needs and budgets by providing a mix of studio and ensuite apartments.
The scheme will also include commercial spaces and include student amenity spaces to promote student wellbeing, such as external spaces, a gym, meeting rooms, lounges, study areas, a facilities management office, parcel room, storage spaces, and a staff area.
As part of the promising Canning Town regeneration project, Hallsville Quarter is set to leave a lasting legacy in the area. It will fulfil local needs by providing more affordable homes in a well-planned development close to public transport, shops, and health and leisure facilities.
Enriching and fostering community among students is at the heart of this scheme and is reflected through the design of the development, which includes well-lit and airy spaces that facilitate quality social interactions.
The project will be taking a low-carbon, sustainable approach whilst targeting BREEAM “Excellent”.
Hallsville Quarter Phase Four is expected to complete in the summer of 2026.
