Background
Creating an expansive leisure park
Colchester Borough Council is creating an exciting new destination of regional significance. The 200,000 sq ft leisure development within this new hub will include a 12-screen Cineworld, seven restaurants, two drive-thru restaurants, a bowling alley an indoor golf centre and an activity centre.
This extensive project is currently one of the largest leisure parks in the UK and will include easy access to the regional transport network. Funded by Canada Life, it is being delivered by Turnstone Estates for Colchester Borough Council and Colchester Amphora Trading and is scheduled to be completed by autumn 2023. The wider scheme will open up routes for walkers, cyclists and horse riders and encourage biodiversity through the planting of new trees and shrubs.

Our Role
Stace is acting as Project Managers, Employers Agent, Quantity Surveyor and Health and Safety advisors for Turnstone Estates. The project team is made up of CMP Architects, Conisbee, PLACE, Sharps Redmore, Silcock Dawson, Wareing and Partners and Whybrow. The contractor is HG Construction.
