Built by former Lord Mayor of London, Sir Nicholas Rainton, in 1632, Forty Hall is admired for its architecture and the period rooms.
Stace was appointed by the London Borough of Enfield to deliver our services on the vital external repair and redecorations works of the Forty Hall Manor House.
The works involved a number of specialist timber repairs to the existing timber window units. A detailed costed repair schedule was prepared together with the principal contractor prior to undertaking the window repairs and the redecoration works.
Stace liaised with the local authority planning officer and head of culture to agree with the specialist timber repair system and paint finishes prior to commencing the works.
The site was occupied during the works and involved liaising with multiple stakeholders to ensure minimum disruption whilst the project was completed.
