Meeting the needs of purpose-built student accommodation in the heart of Brighton.

Following the success of Moulsecoomb Way, we were appointed by McLaren Property to deliver another student accommodation scheme to this vibrant city. In addition to 156 beds, 5-8 London Road provides communal areas and c.5,000 sq ft of retail space to London Road.

The development represents a substantial contribution towards the need for purpose-built student housing in Brighton and Hove. Located within the city centre, the development benefits from excellent sustainable transport links, (bus, train and cycle lanes) to Sussex University, The University of Brighton and the Brighton Institute of Modern Music.

Works included the demolition and site clearance of three existing retail stores, piling and a new concrete frame.

Our Role

Stace provided Project Management, Employer’s Agent, Cost Management, CDM Client Advisor, and Party Wall services. Also on the project team were WGP Architects, HWA Structural Engineers and EDC Services Engineers, with HG Construction as Main Contractor.
