We are delighted that our client, Greystar, is preparing to welcome the first tenants to its flagship Croydon-based Built to Rent scheme. Ten Degrees, previously known as 101 George Street, consists of two interlinked tower blocks of 38-storeys and 44-storey and was built using a modular construction approach. Using offsite technology allowed for a quicker, more sustainable construction whilst also minimising disruption to the surrounding area.
To mark the building’s opening, a spectacular light show will run every evening from 7pm to midnight until 7th May.
The new South London landmark is taller than the London Eye at 135 metres and provides 546 new homes with 10 social spaces including rooftop gardens, panoramic viewing walkway, co-working space, gym and yoga studio, residents lounge, private dining room, games room and even a pet spa.
