Stace is delighted to have strengthened our position in the Building Top 150 Consultants Leaderboard. We have progressed 4 places to be listed as a Top 35 firm and have advanced one position to be recognised as the 3rd largest UK SME, as ranked by Building.
Each year, Building (subscription required) surveys close to 300 consultancies, requesting levels of chartered staff, breakdown across disciplines and annual turnover. This data provides a snapshot of the UK construction and property consultancy market. All data is taken directly from firms’ replies.
• Stace is the 3rd largest UK SME, rising from 4th last year
• Stace is ranked as a Top 35 consultancy firm, rising from 39th position.
• Stace Project Management division rose to 18th, up one from last year’s 19th.
Offering a snapshot of the industry, the partnership is pleased that our position continues to showcase us as a leading consultancy in the UK and recognises the success of our dedicated team of professionals.
Partner, James Darbyshire says:
“Sustained uncertainties in the market continue to provide challenging conditions for the industry and UK economy. However, our relentless focus on delivering market-leading services and putting our people at the core of our business has provided stability in a time where the UK is in uncharted territory.
Being recognised as a Top 35 consultancy is another sign of how Stace continues to challenge the market and is delivering our services to leading projects across the UK.”
Partner Glyn Crawley continues:
“This year we are celebrating our 60th anniversary and we are proud to be recognised as the 3rd largest UK SME. Our core principles have remained throughout our 60 years, being client-focused and delivering an inclusive environment for our people. Our year of 60 & Counting focuses on Building Our Future and we look forward to continuing to grow our story at Stace.”
2019 continues to be a memorable year as we have reshaped parts of Stace to strengthen our future prosperity. These include strategically relocating two of our offices and taking a proactive approach to diversifying and strengthening our sector capabilities.
Additionally, we are incredibly proud to have taken a leading position in facilitating the conversation and driving change in our industry around diversity and inclusion and plugging the skills shortage. In 2019 we released the Stace Next Gen Index, identifying young people’s perception of the industry.
Furthermore, we launched our Stace Next Gen Programme which provides two weeks of work experience to Year 12 students who have been eligible for free school meals at some point in the past 6 years. The work experience took place in August and the students were paid the national living-wage.
These approaches underpin our commitment to drive forward the next generation and continue the success delivered throughout our 60 years.
