As part of Coventry’s award for ‘UK City of Culture 2021’, Coventry Cathedral has completed a new teaching Pavilion extension building, that will also be used for community and external events.
In the grand opening ceremony, attended by the Archbishop of Canterbury, project lead Partner, Stuart Riley commented: “We are delighted to have worked with the Cathedral design team and contractor to deliver the fantastic new learning extension with the associated heritage and sensitive works that compliments the magnificent Grade I listed Cathedral. This provides a facility that can be used by all sections of the community. A proud day for all involved! ”
Stace acted as Contract Administrator and Cost Managers for the £2 million teaching block extension project that completed in December 2021. Previously, Stace provided Cost management services to the Cathedral’s Chapel of Unity.
