We are thrilled to announce that a complex mixed-use student accommodation project of Moulsecoomb Way in Brighton achieved Practical Completion for our client McLaren Property.
The student accommodation is within walking distance of Brighton’s two main universities and close to local bus and rail networks, along with provision for electric car parking. This modern, sustainable scheme boasts a BREEAM Excellent rating and comprises 380 bedrooms and amenity spaces, 1100m² of office/retail units, and a 250m² community space.
The land itself borders a mainline railway line, which added complexity to the construction of the development.
The project team included: HG Construction, Architects WGP Architects, Engineers – Howard Ward Associates Ltd, BREEAM Consultant SRE Consulting, Fire Engineer Jensen Hughes, Acoustics Engineer Sound Advice Acoustics Ltd.
Stace provided full Project Management, Employer’s Agent, Cost Management, Party Wall and CDM Advisor services, along with Principal Designer role as a pre-contract service.
