On 3 June, Meridian Water, London’s newest train station was opened by Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Grayling and Heidi Alexander, Deputy Mayor of London for Transport.
Meridian Water station is part of the £6bn 25-year London regeneration programme led by Enfield Council. The development will deliver 10,000 new homes and create thousands of new jobs.
London’s newest train station replaces the existing Angel Road station providing improved accessibility for passengers with stairs and lifts providing step-free access across the railway and to the enclosed concourse.
Meridian Water station is adjacent to Phase 1 which will deliver 725 homes with construction getting underway in 2020 and the first homes completing in 2022. Stace delivered project management and cost management services for the public realm to the station and are providing our services to Phase 1.
