Proposals have been approved for the College of North-West London in Wembley.
The project has received planning permission from Brent Council, and will see the construction of a new 14,000m² further education college campus on Olympic Way.
The building will provide teaching space, engineering and construction workshops, communal gathering spaces and a landscaped roof terrace on the second floor. The new campus is also set to include a television studio, learning resource centre, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) unit, mixed-mode classrooms and a variety of social study areas. The building will also have a green roof fitted with solar panels.
Construction on the eight-storey campus is proposed to start in Autumn 2024, and the project is due to be completed in late 2026.
