Construction of a 110,500 sq. ft new build retail with undercroft parking, two-level John Lewis store and single storey Waitrose at a key strategic location in Horsham town centre.
Our Role
The scheme involved the demolition of an existing bowls club house, car show rooms and vehicle workshops. The construction then commenced of new retail units on three levels, including a new 400 space undercroft and multi-storey car park, two-storey 63,000ft² John Lewis department store and 42,500ft² Waitrose unit, and associated landscaping andpublic realm improvements and highways improvements.
The project also included extensive S278 works to the existing roads and pedestrian crossings around the site and a S106 agreement to enhance the existing town centre of Horsham.
