Little Gearies
London Borough of Redbridge has appointed us to provide it with professional services for the delivery 103 new homes at Little Gearies in Barkingside.
The development will see an existing two-story block of flats and separate garages demolished to make space for three new terraces of three-storey houses, and flats, together with two six-storey blocks of flats.
The project will provide much needed affordable homes for Redbridge families in housing need, including providing additional parking, new public realm, landscaped and play areas for both the new and existing residents. The redevelopment introduces new terraces between the existing blocks and establishes new home zones at the front and with private and communal gardens at the rear. This approach not only removes cars from outdoor resident amenities but also provides a clear distinction between public, semi-public, and private areas.
Works on the Little Gearies Estate began in December 2022 and are expected to be completed by early 2025.
