We are delighted to have been appointed as the new Project Managers on the Stadium for Bath project. Stace has been selected as the delivery partner as the project progresses with the next phase of the project including addressing the responses received on the planning application.
Our experience delivering Tottenham Hotspur’s state of the art ground was particularly relevant for our appointment, as was our experience in projects for grass-roots community clubs.
The planning application received nearly 4,000 comments, the majority of which are supportive. We have reviewed and are now working to address these responses, which will be followed by the submission of further information and design enhancements. It is anticipated that the planning application will be determined later this year.
The Stadium for Bath project aims to revitalise the riverside area while offering first-rate amenities for rugby and the broader community. We are excited to join the current Design Team, led by Key Elliot Architects, comprised of F3 Architects, Buro Happold and AUK.
Chief Executive Tarquin McDonald said, “We are delighted to have received such constructive and positive feedback on our planning application. This has enabled us to focus on the specific areas where we can further enhance the design, taking account of key considerations such as heights and important views.
As we look ahead towards a planning committee later this year, it is the right time to bring new project management expertise on board and Stace bring a wealth of experience to carry this project forward successfully.
This project is a hugely exciting opportunity for the club, our supporters, and for the wider Bath community.”
Stace partner Ian Clark said, “When delivering our services to the sports sector, we understand that these can be high-profile, emotive and passion projects for both the Client and supporter. We have delivered projects across the UK and are proud to be partnering with Stadium for Bath on this unique project and are very much looking forward to working with the team.”
