On a muddy day in November, a small team from Stace joined volunteers to plant around 1,000 trees in Oakwood Park in Enfield.
The event was hosted by the London Borough of Enfield in collaboration with Willmott Dixon Interiors and forms part of the council’s aim to create cleaner and safer spaces for wildlife and people. It was in conjunction with the Thomas Hardy House project, the council’s strategy to redevelop and improve offices providing vital services within the borough.
Our volunteers used their “giving back” day to participate. Each year, we support our people with a day to actively take part in corporate initiatives or participate in their own community engagement activities to support local, national and international causes.
Volunteer, Jessa Lee, commented, “It’s great spending time doing something a little different from the usual day-to-day and we can’t wait to see how it turns out.”
