Stace is delighted to share with you details of the next phase of the Wembley Park transformation project with Quintain. Earlier in the year John Sisk and Son commenced demolition and enabling works laying the infrastructure in the North East Lands for the next major developments in the 85-acre neighbourhood around Wembley Stadium that will provide over 2,000 new homes, in addition to the 4,780 already complete across Wembley Park.
The design of the North East Land buildings is set around seven-acres of new green space called Union Park. These predominantly Build-to-Rent developments will have in mind human wellbeing and designed and operated to recognised industry sustainability standards such as ‘WELL Building Standard’ as well as constructed with high quality interior design and lifestyle amenities. Set to be the largest construction contract ever awarded by Quintain at around £220million, designed by Haworth Tompkins’ the first two plots range from 10-27 storeys to provide 769 homes, with 201 affordable, and each with roof terraces.
Mark Ashby commented: “The milestone of starting on site is always an achievement and when it is for the creation of a new neighbourhood, this is taken to another level. Stace are very pleased to be providing the project and contract management services and acting as client CDM advisor for this significant new phase and continue our 19 year delivery partnership with Quintain in the creation of Wembley Park. “
